Do You Have Chronic Low Back Pain?

Dr. Kyounghae Kim is seeking volunteers to be part of a paid research study being done at the School of Nursing at Storrs Hall. The research study will examine pain sensitivity over the episode of chronic low back pain. Participation will include completing questionnaires, undergoing a sensory assessment, collecting a swab from your cheek and having blood drawn.

If you are between the ages of 18-60 years old and have experienced low back pain for more than half the days during the last 6 months, you may be eligible to participate.

You will not be eligible if you have: Another chronic pain condition or other conditions that cause pain; Neurological deficits such as weakness; Are pregnant or within 3-months post-partum; Had previous spinal surgery.
